Privacy
Short version: the tools run in your browser, what you type stays on your device, and there are no accounts, adverts or cookies.
What you type and design
Sizes, fabric names, colours and block designs are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded to any server. The site makes no network requests of its own while you use the tools.
What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) for:
- the block you are working on in the designer, with its preview and cutting-list settings, so it is still there next time;
- blocks you choose to save under My blocks;
- your light or dark theme choice, if you pick one.
You can delete saved blocks with the Delete buttons on the designer, or clear everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Design files you download are saved by your browser like any other download.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages it serves. It counts page views and basic information such as the page visited, referring site, country and browser type, without cookies or cross-site tracking. It never receives what you type, paste or design in the tools.
Links to other sites
Pages link to quilting guides used as sources, to sister sites and to two recommended tools, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies; nothing from Loom Mosaic is passed to them when you follow a link.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes for the pages themselves.
